I trained at The Polarity Realization Institute in Portland Maine and graduated with 1150 hours of study in Deep Tissue and Holistic Massage with a focus in Polarity Therapy. I have studied with Acupuncturist Lorie Dechar, and Benjamin Fox in the Alchemical Healing Mentorship which uses Eastern Philosophies of Medicine, Astrology, essential oils, and theories of Jungian Psychology to address psycho-emotional and soul related challenges that often present in the physical body. I quickly realized that my work went beyond the physical body. As I worked with clients, I easily found the source of physical pain, and with that, often came a story—a vision of my client as a child, a name, or the presence of someone who had passed. Sharing what I sensed gave us access to healing on a physical, emotional and sometimes spiritual level. After many years of practicing in this way, I realized that the work transcended the physical-- the deeper and lasting work was happening in the subtle body.
